Recipe Development

I write recipes for people who enjoy eating and love to feed themselves and others, whether that’s friends, extended family, or two toddlers. A mixed race background, a childhood in the Southwest, a degree in nutrition, and a current home in the Bay all influence the way I cook and develop recipes. Writing recipes that set readers up for success drives so much of what I do. There’s nothing more frustrating to follow a recipe letter for letter only to be left with undercooked chicken or soggy pizza. I focus on clear instructions and a bit of storytelling to offer context and clarity.

To that note, I am a big believe in cross testing and also offer recipe testing services. I have worked previously testing recipes for Nik Sharma’s Flavor Equation, Sara Forte’s Sprouted Kitchen Cooking Club, as well as dozens of recipes for Kitchn.
